Mark Green and his aunt recently enjoyed a week at Nash’s Lac Chateau Cavagnac. On the journey out, Jennifer Mundy told her nephew that she would be happy with a carp over 20lbs.

Mark couldn’t imagine catching anything that big so when he landed a 45lb mirror, on Scopex Squid Plus boilies, just hours after arrival and on the day before his thirteenth birthday - he was thrilled.

He followed up with a couple of thirties and the highlight of the week, this magnificent 50lb mirror.

Auntie caught three glorious Lac Cav carp over 20lbs and one over 30lbs. They’ve been talking about a return match ever since!
